Elaine has a bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and interned at Massachusetts General Hospital. For five years she set up corporate and community wellness programs, and currently is a full time coach and owner of Vmps.
An endurance athlete for 30+ years, Elaine has made the podium in numerous events in running, cycling, and triathlons, including winning the 1991 Sri Chimnoy Marathon and qualifying for the 2010 World Duathlon Championships. A USA Triathlon Certified Coach, Elaine has been coaching endurance athletes for fifteen years, successfully applying her education, experience, and overall love of the sport to help people achieve their endurance sports goals. Those goals have ranged crossing the finish line at a sprint triathlon to competing in the IRONMAN World Championships.
A competitive cyclist for 35 years, Don has set numerous time trial course records at cycling events in the United States and Canada and has been a multiple gold medalist in New York's Empire State Games, as well as at New York's and Pennsylvania's State time trial championships and Ontario's provincial championships. He also has medaled in the time trial at the USA Cycling's Open and Masters championships.
Don has faced the challenge of coming back from two separate horrific accidents where he was hit by vehicles and sustained devastating injuries. Despite the permanent disabilities, chronic pain, and inability to use aerobars, usually Don posts the fastest bike splits in triathlons and other timed bicycle competitions.
Don is a tenured college professor at Worcester State University. He brings his years of teaching and racing experience to help his clients achieve their goals in a flexible and supportive fashion. A USA Cycling Certified Coach, Don has over twenty-five years of coaching experience and many of his clients have achieved considerable success at the regional and national level.
