Patriot Half Ironman Triathlon Training Camp
This training camp is designed for people who are new to the half iron/70.3 race distance. The camp is tailored to the Patriot Half Iron Triathlon, but is appropriate for athletes preparing for any long course event. This full day camp scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2016 includes swim, bike and run clinics on the Patriot course as well as classroom instruction to help you ace your half iron/70.3 race.
Topics covered include open water swimming techniques, cycling strategy, running form, nutrition, tapering, and mental strategies. To maximize the learning opportunity the coach to athlete ratio is 15 to 1 (if not better). Mark Walter, USAT Certified Race Director for the Patriot Half and owner of Sun Multisport Events, will provide his insights on the Patriot race.

Inclement Weather Policy
Our triathlon training camps will be held in the rain, but may be cancelled, modified, or postponed for thunderstorms. A cancellation notice would be sent to the email used during registration as soon as an informed decision could be made. No make ups or refunds would be issued for cancelled events, but Vmps would try to reschedule the event, if feasible.
Refund Policy for Vmps Triathlon Training Camps
No refunds will be issued. Participants may transfer their registrations to a different Vmps service in the same calendar year. All transfer requests must be made at least seven (7) days prior to the date of the training camps for which the participant is registered. Transfer requests must be submitted by emailing the request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
